The amount of storage space on your iPhone might not be a concern when you first start using the device, but you may run into capacity issues over time as you take pictures, download apps, and purchase media in iTunes. All of these items will use the space that is available on the device, and you may eventually encounter a situation where you can’t add something that you would like to because you don’t have room.
Our guide below will show you where to go on your iPhone 7 to see how much storage space you are using, and how much is left. You can even see which of the apps on your device are using the most space.
Step 1: Open the Settings menu.
Step 2: Select the General option.
Step 3: Tap the Storage & iCloud Usage option.
Step 4: Find your used and available storage listed in the Storage section on this menu.
If you tap the Manage Storage option, you can see a list of your apps and how much of your storage space they are using.
If you need to make some room for other apps, songs, pictures or videos, then there are a lot of ways that you can do so. For example, learn how to delete an email account and gain back the space being used by that account.
