LTE networks that are accessible with your iPhone are usually the fastest type of cellular network to which you can connect. This makes it much easier to browse the Internet, watch videos, download files, and perform just about any other task that requires a connection to the Internet. In fact, perhaps the only faster way to use your iPhone is on a Wi-Fi network.<\/p>\n
But this increased speed capacity can lead to more cellular data usage, which is ultimately something that you might decide to avoid. Fortunately you can disable LTE networks in iOS 9 so that your iPhone is no longer able to connect to them. Our tutorial in this article will show you where this setting is located so that you can adjust it to suit your needs.<\/p>\n

The steps in this article weere performed on an iPhone 6 Plus in iOS 9.3. Note that disabling LTE on your iPhone will only stop the device from connecting to that type of cellular network. The iPhone will still be able to connect to other cellular networks.<\/p>\n
Step 1: Tap the Settings<\/strong> icon.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step 2: Tap the Cellular<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step 3: Touch the Cellular Data Options<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step 4: Touch the button to the right of Enable LTE<\/strong> to turn it off. When you have disabled LTE on the iPhone, there will not be any green shading around the button.
